Ronco Scrivia (Genova, Italy), April 21st, 2023 – Racing Force Group is ready to support MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi for his sophomore campaign in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, the premier GT racing series which will kick-off the 2023 season at Monza, Italy, on 22-23 April. The 9-time motorcycle world champion has a multi-year agreement with Racing Force Group, to use OMP racewear and Bell Racing helmets in his car racing career.

“The Doctor” stayed under the banner of Team WRT, a partner of the OMP brand too, but now at the wheel of the new BMW M4 GT3. Valentino began his 2023 racing activities taking part at 24 Hours of Dubai, securing an overall podium finish, and then at the Bathurst 12 Hour, part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge series.

However, the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS represents the main commitment for Rossi, with a 10-round calendar across some of the most prestigious European tracks. Five of these are included in the Endurance Cup, with long-distance events such as the Monza 3 Hours and the legendary 24 Hours of Spa, while the other half is part of the Sprint Cup, with a two 1-hour races weekend format. The opening Sprint Cup round is scheduled at Brands Hatch on 13-14 May.

Valentino, Maxime Martin and Augusto Farfus Jr, the drivers of the #46 car, use the OMP One-Art racesuit, which offers unlimited customizations possibilities thanks to the totally printed design, meeting the creative demands from the Italian driver. The Bell Racing helmet adopted by Rossi is the HP7, which features aerospace composite materials and advanced energy absorbing systems.

Luigi Rossi, Racing Force Group Senior Marketing Manager, commented: “Supporting a motorsport legend like Valentino is an absolute pleasure. Through the OMP brand, we worked together in the past for one-off races in rally and circuit racing, but this full-time racing program is giving us the opportunity to enjoy an even deeper partnership: beyond the professional relationship, there’s a real friendship. Valentino’s meticulousness, the same which helped him to win so much in MotoGP, and his valuable feedback, help us to develop the OMP and Bell Racing product range down to the littlest details. We are looking forward to seeing Valentino again in action in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, starting from the home round in Monza”.
